لمذا تختلف إسبانيا جوهريا عن الدول الأوروبية مثل فرنسا و إيطاليا و هولندا رغم انتمائها لنفس التكتل المسمى بالاتحاد الأوروبي؟

لأسباب عديدة، من بينها أن إسبانيا لم تمر تاريخيا بعصر النهضة، و لم يتأثر فكرها السياسي بفكر الأنوار، بل بقيت عالقة في القرون الوسطى حتى بعد الحرب العالمية الثانية.

بل وحتى اليوم لازال الكثير من الإسبان عالقين في أفكار محاكم التفتيش و حرب الاسترداد و كراهية المورو و الحروب الصليبية.

And you want the African federations to support Europe at the expense of African football!!!
