6月6日，网红狗“锄头”的主人发布后续视频称，自己刚收到警方正式通知，经官方价格鉴定，“锄头”的价值已达到河南省盗窃罪刑事立案标准，案件目前已正式转为刑事案件立案侦查，涉案偷狗者将被依法追究刑事责任。

狗主人在视频中表示，后续会走标准刑事司法流程，自己坚持不接受刑事方面的和解，只要求依法严惩偷狗者；
民事赔偿部分已咨询律师，计划等刑事案件结束后再单独提起民事诉讼。

他称之后刑事、民事每个关键节点都会继续公开告知。
