Saying “Pinot Noir is my favourite varietal” is like saying “Summer is my favourite seasonal.” But I fear those of us trying get people to use “varietal” correctly may be fighting a losing battle.

The passing of BC pioneer vintner George Heiss reminds us of how little time we have on this earth. However, I'll always remember George for his honesty, lack of pretension, and the enormous amount of work he and Trudy undertook to put BC and Lake Country on the wine map.

@BillTieleman @TomDavidoff @bc_pharmacy On waiting lists for every pharmacy in Kelowna, but not holding my breath. Appears government has shifted vaccination strategy to the lower mainland where 40 year olds will now be vaccinated ahead of 55-65 year olds everywhere else.

Does anyone know which age group in BC is now being vaccinated? I registered as soon as I was eligible plus am also waitlisted for the AZ shot at every pharmacy in Kelowna. Trying to be patient be feeling totally in the dark.
