Somehow, I trust a believing Coptic Christian trained in history under VDH to the ignorant speculations of a small town, Internet-famous pastor expelled from his church in part for embezzlement. Wonder why TC had that guy on, not @RaymondIbrahim5? Actually I don’t wonder at all.
🚨COMPANY RESPONDS🚨
SemCorp's Group Vice President James Shih has now responded respectfully to my report.
The Chinese company does not deny the information in this video.
They have offered to answer my questions.
Here's some of the questions they just answered:
"Regarding jobs, we’re expecting to ramp up to 200-300 full-time jobs by next year in our Phase 1 workshop. We’re also close to starting installation of production equipment in our Phase 2 workshop which will add another 100 or more. These will be jobs in advanced manufacturing, requiring training in the operation of highly sophisticated manufacturing machinery and processes.
What I mean by our helping to advance President Trump’s agenda is that his signature legislative achievement last year, the One Big Beautiful Bill, made reshoring strategic manufacturing a national priority. We’re creating jobs here that otherwise would’ve been created in Asia or Eastern Europe, and more importantly we’re localizing a key piece of the supply chain for our data centers and energy infrastructure that we currently rely heavily on imported products for."
When I asked how many of these jobs are going to go to AMERICANS Shih responded:
"I don’t have a precise breakdown for you but in the long term virtually all of these jobs will be local hires. As I pointed out in one of my tweet replies, transferring employees internationally is actually expensive especially because they’re managers and technical experts who are here specifically because of their knowledge and experience. Our product has never been manufactured at scale in the United States before. The goal is to transfer their knowledge to the local workforce as quickly as possible while ensuring a smooth production ramp-up. By the way, the L-1 visa application process is extremely rigorous under this administration, as it should be, and we’ve had to provide very robust documentation for each transferred employee to demonstrate why their presence here is necessary for the long-term success of the project."
When I asked if his company intends on applying for benefits from Trump's One Big Beautiful Bill Shih said:
"Currently we don’t have any plans to apply for federal tax credits or grants under the OBBB"
