I used to think there's no way Zoids could ever come back and see any success due to how niche it is, but holy shit this would do numbers as an actual series with animation this sick. There's not enough good mecha anime out there lately.
Won't happen, though. I don't think...
@aevanko Unfortunately I think handicraft is not so great as a skill when using artian weapons. One sharpness boost is worth +20 which is two handicraft points worth (kinda nuts!). You'd rather take attack boost as a charm skill. Still you've had better charm luck than I :(
Postitive change! Proof that complaining MAKES THE GAME BETTER even if it is annoying and obnoxious at times. Telling people to stop complaining makes the experience worse for everyone
🛡 Guild Report 10 🛡
In response to the requests we received regarding Arch-tempered monsters and their time-limited availability, we are planning to make improvements in the future.
Request:
Make Arch-tempered monsters be permanently available.
Improvement:
Arch-tempered Rey Dau and Arch-tempered Uth Duna will be made permanently available to hunt.
Arch-tempered Rey Dau will return on July 23 with the Festival of Accord: Flamefete and will be permanently available from that date.
* The event quest that is available now will end on July 16.
Arch-tempered Uth Duna will be permanently available from July 23, arriving one week earlier than initially planned.
We are considering making the event quests for the upcoming Arch-tempered monsters and other event quests permanently available as well. Once we've finalised the details of these improvements, we'll share exactly what they are, as well as when they will be implemented.
The team is committed to listening to your feedback and making further improvements to #MHWilds. Thank you for your support!
I hate that you can't use every weapon for the challenge quests, but I guess that's part of the challenge!
After a few failed attempts, my hammer knowledge from World just barely got me over the line :)
Biggest mistake you can make in Monster Hunter is to want something! Not just talking desire sensor, but literally anything in a hunt - if you try and force something you'll get so thoroughly fucked. Can you tell I'm playing Dos?
何も欲張っちゃダメです!
The next best IG time with video proof I can find is 2'32'89. Which means there is a decent chance that I am the only insect glaive player in the world that has a non cheated time in the top 10,000 right now (I will lose it shortly I'm sure)
The leaderboards are predictably littered with fucking cheaters, but god dammit I'm pretty proud of this run! hit like 30 offset attacks and stayed in peak performance almost nonstop
Hit HR 100 in Wilds already! I'm very happy with how the IG flows when you have a high-speed kinsect. Still yet to touch another weapon!
Favorite monster is Rey Dau (his music is tied with proof of a hero (MH1) and proof of a hero (MHGU) for best track in the whole series
@TweetingGaruga Even in high rank I sometimes play reckless with 20% health instead of healing. An attack comes and somehow only takes me down to 5% or so. I have 300ish defense but still this shouldn't be a thing
(I love Wilds and it has catapulted to my second favorite in the series btw)
With Rey Dau and Jin Dahaad's themes it has some of the most peak fucking music, and the hit SFX are top tier! Only second to MHGU which sounds like they crack a fucking whip every time you get a crit (pure dopamine).
I love Iceborne, but Wilds' sound design dominates it!
The most important thing to me in a Monster Hunter game isn't difficulty. It's not the weapons, and it's not even the monsters!
It's sound design! Good hit SFX and great music are make or break for me. In this regard, Wilds is the second best in the series!!
Just rolled credits on MH Wilds and I just want you to know that in the final hunt I was GRINNING EAR TO EAR THE ENTIRE FUCKING TIME IT WAS PERFECT 🥲 haven't felt that way in a long time
The series has gotten easier AND you've gotten better, both are true. With that said Iceborne is still my favourite MH game. Difficulty isn't everything, but it matters, and it's so annoying seeing people pretend like it's all in their head
"Monster Hunter hasn't gotten easier, you've just gotten better" is DELUSIONAL. I started with World and went backwards through the series all the way to Freedom 1. it's obvious the older games were significantly harder (p3rd is an anomaly) #MHWilds
