Hey @LiveNation @ModaCenter

[TriMet @trimet]

All MAX service is suspended until further notice due to impacts from the extreme weather. Power outages, trees down and dangerous conditions have impacted our ability to safely provide MAX service at this time.

We are attempting to provide shuttle buses where possible, but riders should expect long delays and use regular bus service or other transportation. Those who can avoid traveling at this time should do so.

Check https://t.co/yy3iHncauR for updates.

[John Canzano @johncanzanobft]

Lots of weather cancellations in Portland today. Stay off the roads unless you have to… thinking of all the emergency-response teams who are out there today.

Meanwhile…

[Traci Mennis @TraciMennis]

@Anna_Canzano You tell ‘em Anna!! Cancel the shows!

[Anna Canzano @Anna_Canzano]

People cannot safely attend this event. Lion King has cancelled. Hoping those in charge make the call immediately to cancel.

[Traci Mennis @TraciMennis]

@tonicline @ModaCenter And now the entire Max Line is closed! @ModaCenter do the right thing and cancel the shows today!

[Derek Holland @DerekHolland]

@ModaCenter This is terrible @GovTinaKotek @KGWNews @KOINNews @fox12weather . There is a citywide state of emergency.

[Kyle Iboshi @KyleIboshi]

City crews are working to clear a tree that fell at SE Belmont & 13th. Strong winds, snow & ice creating problems across Portland-metro area

[Traci Mennis @TraciMennis]

@ripcitybeav @ModaCenter @pdxwinterhawks Hello?? Are people seeing this? @amypoehler @ModaCenter #RestlessLegTour cancel the shows!

[Traci Mennis @TraciMennis]

Probably true. Just hope they don’t take any of these poor broken hips to Providence Milwaukie!

[Traci Mennis @TraciMennis]

Hey @ModaCenter and @amypoehler Red and blue Max lines are closed. That alone should make canceling the shows today the only responsible thing to do since people are being told to take public transportation!!

[Rip City Beaver 🦫 @ripcitybeav]

@ModaCenter @pdxwinterhawks This is what is going on near the arena and the Moda Center is just like, everything is fine.
