Meanwhile...one of the funniest interviews of the Olympics so far was when NCAA champion Christopher Morales-Williams of @UGATrack was asked about handling pressure at the Olympics. He's 19 years old and representing Canada and just advanced to the semifinal.
Here's what he said:
“I was talking with Coach Caryl (Smith-Gilbert), she was telling me ‘You’ve done harder things than this already.’ SECs was harder. SECs last year was harder than any race I’ve done this year. The hardest part was just getting to be that fast.
Now I just go out there and have fun. If I lose, I just go back to school and continue on with my life. But these guys, you know, they’re old. They’ve got cars, and kids. I don’t even own a car, I don’t even have to pay for gas. So it’s like, what do I even need to worry about? Spending money on pencils?”
The @SEC – It Just Means More.

While i'm at it, here is a non-work related life update. I've upgraded to Category 2 on the road 🤠
When i'm not at my laptop, i'm on my bike 10-12/hrs a week & walking my dogs.
@runcamille you have just made my whole career worthwhile. Thank you for this post, you have no idea what it means to me.
This right here ⬇️ is why I do what I do. Thanks Camille for sharing these insights.
