Life won’t be the same without you. Zach Carson was my best friend. We met back in 2020 the week March Madness got canceled because he was originally a YouTube subscriber of mine but that quickly turned into friends, best friends but really you became my brother. The past 6 years I don’t think I talked to someone more. This March won’t be the same without you. The college basketball community lost the best person I ever met. You were so loved and we’re all going to miss you man.

I didn’t think I would ever be writing this. With a heavy heart, I regret to inform everyone that the company’s cofounder, and one of my best friends, Zach, took his own life last night. I’ve known Zach (I called him Zj) since 2013. We met in a Black Ops 2 lobby. We were friends ever since. Although living states away, we met in person numerous times. I attended his wedding a couple years ago. He attended my wedding last year. He was a survivor of testicular cancer. We have been business partners since 2022 when Crescent’s initial idea was formed. He’s always supported me and this company for years. I’ve wanted to quit a few times. He kept urging me to keep believing in it and to look how far we’ve come. He’s also the one who has been running this social media account. Forming relationships. Making friends. There’s so many positive things to say about Zach. We always butted heads with each other. Challenged ideas. We were polar opposites at times. And it was great. An incredible person was lost. In honor of him, I will make sure this is a success. He will be able to look down and see what he helped build absolutely thrive. For you, Zj. ❤️ . Also, please please please- I know you all hear this. It sounds generic, but we all need to remind ourselves. HELP IS AVAILABLE. Just call or text 988 if you’re fighting depression or having suicidal thoughts. Don’t even think twice. I can’t stress it enough. They’re trained professionals and it will blow your mind how good they are at their jobs. We are all human. Humans need help.
