1.15.0 is out. Your roadbook tiles can now run on the car screen: speed, heading, altitude, whatever you pick, in the order you choose, remembered per car. Switch it on in Settings, New features. Live for iOS, Android in closed beta, care to join the beta? https://t.co/eOYdK1NHBL
Heading somewhere signal dies? Download the offline map for that region before you leave. Routing stays on-device, so a dead zone does not strand the plan.
Long day with range anxiety? Drop fuel or charge stops into the plan before you leave. The route stays intact, and you are not hunting a station when the tank is already thin.
Curious how much time the twisties cost? Build the same A-to-B as Curviest and as Fastest, then compare. Pick the fun version only when the extra minutes fit the day.
Leaving town for the good roads? Start the first stretch Fastest to clear the suburbs, then switch to Curviest once you are past the lights. Less stop-and-go, more of the day on the fun bit.
Short on time but still want proper roads? Cap the loop length first, then pick Curviest inside that budget. You finish on schedule without cutting the fun early.
Two versions of the same day beat one stubborn plan. Save a Curviest and a Fastest of the same corridor, then pick at the trailhead based on weather and how tired you feel.
Night run home after a long day? Flip the remaining legs to Fastest or Shortest. Save Curviest and Unpavediest for daylight when you can actually enjoy them.
Overland day with mixed surfaces? Plan the paved approaches Fastest and keep only the fun middle Unpavediest. Soft stuff where it counts, not on the highway connectors.
Four-by or dual-sport weekend with thin coverage? Build the track at home and keep the maps on the phone. On-device routing still calls the next turn when the cell signal does not.
Big day with thin services along the way? Mark fuel, charge, and food stops on the plan before you leave. Easier to ride when the next fill is already on the route.
