Landlords aren't allowed to withhold security deposits for repairs based on normal wear & tear. Yet many do.

#AB243 will protect minority juveniles in Nevada by requiring that the defendant's race be redacted during the charging process. The racial disparities in our system lead to BIPOC defendants serving longer sentences for similar crimes.
#AB125 will allow non-violent offenders (including category B felons) in Nevada to earn credits to shorten the minimum term of their sentences. This is good fiscal policy, as it will limit mass incarceration, and it is an excellent criminal justice reform. #nvleg
The name Breonna Taylor galvanized nationwide protests for racial justice after she was brutally and senselessly killed by Louisville, Kentucky, police during the execution of a no-knock warrant. #SB50#NVLEG https://t.co/MbN6XBSNNj
I am proud to bring forward legislation to decriminalize minor traffic violations in Nevada. Right now, people who are unable to pay traffic fines for minor violations such as speeding or driving with a broken tail light can be arrested and even incarcerated. #nvleg [thread 1/2]
Today, I’m proud to share that @NVSenateDems passed an additional $50 million in grants to support and uplift small businesses.
It’ll help keep the lights on and sustain Nevada’s economy as we fight this public health crisis. #nvleg
The #NVleg must make #AB4 permanent.
#AB4 didn’t just make it easier to vote by mail--it made it easier to *vote*. It gave Nevadans OPTIONS, letting us choose how we wanted to vote. How? 👇🏻(THREAD)

Gov. Sisolak released a budget that includes no new taxes & $187M less spending than proposed ahead of the last 2-year cycle. The proposal cuts education funding, increases healthcare spending & relies on rosy forecasts to avert steep cuts many anticipated.https://t.co/UAQ58h8VsL
