IT’S A BIRDIE BITCHES. 🐦. Finishes at +7, 78. +14 for the championship.
77-78=155. Should be good enough to make it to the final round tomorrow at Rochester CC.
The chip is from about 25 feet, pretty level. Has options. He chips it right into the fringe and it hits SO SOFT. Abenaqui bounce!? That was well played but has a good 10 feet left for par.
Second shot to the par 5, probably about 250. CALL OUR MAN JOHNNY APPLESEED. The 3 wood is mint. Just short of the green to a back middle pin. I’m feeling a birdie here. Our man has this shot.
He just misses it left. FML. It’s a double at the par 3 14th. +7 for day. +14 for championship. 4 holes to play. Gotta buckle down if we want to see Sunday.
Par 3 14th playing about 150. Middle left pin. I bet our man has a little 7 iron.... oh no...he pulls it and it takes a unfriendly bounce left and careems into the water. Jesus. Unforced error!!!
The birdie chip is solid AF. It was a simple assignment but he executed it well. Like doing a math minute at age 30. It’s a tap in par at the par 5 13th. Remains +5 for the day and +12 for the championship. Onto the cupcake par 3 14th.
