The Contradiction: (1) AAII sentiment data released ystdy painted an unfamiliar picture--while SPX set up a rebound high, the bullish sentiment is merely at 22.9%; it is more like a low than a high. (2) that explained in part where the power of the vertical squeeze came from.

Perspective vs. 4200 Gap: (1) SPX staged a stealth rally that finally conquered 4200 and partially filled the gap. (2) before talking about any bullish scenario, keep in mind it took SPX 41 trading days to drop from 4325 to 3492--now, 150 trading days later, it got back only 80%

DMA=3961: (1) The chart looks very bearish--every time, when SPX/SPY tagged & failed the bearish trendline, it dropped for at least 2-weeks. (2) now, Daily Moving Average 200 at 3961 is holding the market--once it is gone--& it will, next target is the dotted black line near 3920
