Alex Zabel reportedly stated during his criminal court hearing today that he intends to file an anti-SLAPP motion against the State of Arizona.

While anti-SLAPP motions are typically used in civil lawsuits to protect individuals from legal actions intended to silence or retaliate against their exercise of constitutional rights, Arizona law is different.

Arizona explicitly allows anti-SLAPP motions in certain criminal prosecutions.

However, Zabel would have to present preliminary evidence that the prosecution was substantially motivated by an effort to deter, retaliate against, or prevent his lawful exercise of constitutional rights.

Simply invoking the First Amendment or filing an anti-SLAPP motion does not automatically invalidate criminal charges or require their dismissal.

However, Juice, another tip for you, buddy. When you're pulling up to people's houses, maybe DON'T say their address? Don't worry, I've censored this too. Even if it is just the numbers, you still show everyone where it is. So it wouldn't be hard to find.

I know it's not illegal to record when dropping the order off, but maybe don't film their house? I know it's a lot to ask considering the way you didn't care too much about showing the Guthrie family's homes, but come on man.
