Hey everyone, very sorry I’ve been quiet — exams kept me busy. Great to see Franco improving!🇦🇷
If you don’t recognize me (@/InsideAlpine), I’ve rebranded to cover F1 generally.
I’ll be active, tweeting about Franco and Pierre — still my favourites. Thanks for sticking around!
@ShenXuanAsura @f1history__ One of the best accounts on here and i'd urge everyone to follow because his dedication is💯, but i just disagree with the source of this specific rumour
I've seen rumours about Alpine offering Sergio Perez a 2026 contract
The source is Pedro Fermin, one of the least reliable F1 journalists
He previously claimed Ferrari wanted Gasly in 2023 and that Alonso would leave Aston Martin in 2024
For now, I wouldn't trust it—so relax🙏
@Vertibirdie Williams will be strong next season- great Merc PU and they seem very competent
I don't see Sainz leaving but even if he did would Williams take a Colapinto for 2027/28 who's spent 1-2 years not racing? Not sure
Franco's interview with Fossaroli today was very interesting to me
@Vertibirdie I wouldn't really entertain it as a realistic prospect but I see Albon-Sainz as Williams' long-term lineup
If one leaves for 2027, would Williams bring back Franco in 2028? I doubt it honestly
I think these next few races with Alpine are critical for Franco's long-term F1 goals
@Vertibirdie It's exactly what Fermin wants:
It's controversial "news" that gets people talking and puts his name in the community spaces.
At the same time, I can understand why people newer to the sport might be so worried by this
Lets see- he might be right for once
@Vertibirdie I get why a lot of Franco fans are worried about this sudden rumour that Checo’s being offered a seat, since he’d probably replace Franco.
But I’ve followed F1 for a while, and Fermin is pretty unreliable—he’s got many rumours wrong
Like you guys say, he just sells “humo.”😅
The lack of accountability I'm seeing is sad.
I criticise the abuse Jack Doohan gets and people defends it by citing Mick’s “pay drivers” comment
Mick’s words were unprofessional but stop acting like the abuse Jack got didn’t start long before that
Let's please be respectful🙌
@formulafakers
It might be best to open your account back, take accountability and apologise
Faking realistic social media posts of a family who were already getting tons of abuse and death threats is disgusting and then deleting the account to allow others to take blame is bad
It’s funny how everyone plays the victim and denies blame
The account that spread lies about the Doohan family deleted their profile without apologising
Also funny how some pretend top Argentinian broadcasters didn’t share the fabricated lies unchecked then sent abuse to Doohan
@BHill1417 It can be funny when done right but so harmful in this type of sensitive situation
And to think they've run off without taking blame by deactivating
@davbushido I've already commented that it was very disrespectful from Mick especially given the fact that his son is still working with the team and that the team should take action
But deflecting all of the blame on Doohan is not productive- there are others who have to take responsibilty
Race Pace at the 2025 Imola GP🇮🇹:
Pierre: +1.29s off the leader
Franco: +1.73s off the leader
The car is not good enough to score points at the moment.
We need these upgrades to come fast and hopefully bring us into the top-10 because other midfield teams are much quicker now.
I've never blocked anyone on Twitter before.
But today, after reading so much nonsense, I finally get why blocking people helps make this app a better place. (I still won't block people)
Anyway, hoping for Pierre to score points and a strong, clean race from Franco tomorrow.🙏
@nachosb74 Not Argentinian- actually you guys are a very cool bunch of people (of course, it can get very passionate sometimes but it's great)
Just a lot of toxicity
People trying to say stupid opinions to get attention or people comparing Colapinto and Senna after his crash in Imola
