Tuesday marks the 25th anniversary of the tragic loss of Bob Wollek—legendary driver, "Brilliant Bob," taken far too soon in 2001, while cycling near Sebring on Hwy 98.
I confirmed the spot with Ken Breslauer and online sources. I believe I've located the memorial roadside... but it appears in disrepair 😔 [attach your pics here, including the Google Maps grab for reference]
Not attending Sebring this year, but with the race weekend here—anyone local heading that way? Could someone please check on its condition and share an update/photo? It deserves to be remembered and cared for. 🙏
