If tweeting has any effect at all can I add my voice to the chorus of bewildered outrage greeting this act of cultural insanity. BBC Four is probably the finest achievement of British broadcasting in a generation. If the BBC is the Tower of London, #BBCFour is surely its ravens.
Never been more relieved to be home after a week in intensive care and two weeks in Macc Hospital. Sepsis, meningitis and pneumonia battered me nearly to death but the wonderful team got me through. Thank God for them and my family whose love I am so grateful for.
I spent over ten years managing national consumer PR for Lancashire and it was a fantastic job - great colleagues, places, people, food, history - so many wonderful stories to tell. Still love Lancashire and views from two recent walks there give a tiny glimpse as to why.
Happy Fathers Day to all the great Dads out there (especially my own) who put their children before themselves and work so hard to provide them with a good, meaningful life. Thinking of those missing their Dads today.
My father in law’s beautiful garden today - a testament to all the thought and hard work he puts in. I could talk to him for hours about plants. So much knowledge.
What's Going On In Your Child's Brain When You Read Them A Story? I just have to tweet this again b/c it is so important for parents -- why reading is so much better than watching cartoons, & author Anya Kamenetz is a former @newamerica fellow. https://t.co/KZZHXhKEJV
Giles Farm today - looking idyllic. A wildlife meadow, pond and spectacular views over the Ribble Valley. Thank you Kirsten and Phil Brown, you have created something very special.
Tennis coaching first thing. Great start to the day. Will at British Consulate Party in New York to celebrate - just on ITV - and we’re here at Palm Beach. UK looking glorious. What a wonderful day.
