Tweetdeck no longer functions. I only use this account on Tweetdeck as it is the lesser used of my two profiles.
The failure of Tweetdeck saddens me greatly. Regretfully, I shall no longer be posting from this account. You can find me on the elephant app as astrolabe_cat.
We are very proud to be able to present to you the newest translation of the Women in Mathematics poster, now available in isiXhosa. Xhosa is one of the official languages of South Africa and is spoken by more than 20 million people.

Hmm, I don't make all of the requirements, but am over qualified in others.
Lund is nice, I've been there. Tempting.
@nellylitvak Ha! I saw that Robert Talbot piece and thought "I must show this to Nelly!" and then saw that the reason it appeared in my feed was beause you retweeted it :D :D
@maths_kath@DrTanyaEvansNZ For some reason the Table Mountain Delta website is not being updated, which is frustrating. But it does have the first announcement, with dates etc. here: https://t.co/xMIs14uLxZ
Happiness is: doing Laplace transforms and inverse Laplace transforms.
I have spent a happy afternoon in a Laplace bubble. May your Saturday be as pleasant.
The Proceedings from SEFI 2022 have come out. I wrote a small thing (a "short"paper) along with a (then) first-year student. You can find it here: https://t.co/5zkYbdnDXc
It is about using tech tools in Vector Calculus assessment and how we narrowly avoided a large trap.
Our paper "Design principles for final answer assessment in linear algebra: implications for digital testing" has been assigned an issue number, yay! We found this a valuable piece of research to carry out. It really improved our assessment practices.

Thank you, Mrs Ihmig, my year 1 of high school teacher, who taught me how to factorise.
My students seem only to have been taught the quadratic root formula. If the numbers are simply factorisation is *always* easier and faster.
God bless you, Mrs Ihmig.
I just submitted my letter of intent for the next round of Comenius grants. So far I am nil for two on Comenius. Perhaps third time is the charm?

University teachers are trained scientists. It is not logical to expect from them all the skills in didactics and EdTech required for a good modern course! Let’s team up with instructional designers in a Teaching Team! I am working on this now at @utwenteEN#highereducation
