bullying:
* lack transparency
* use title/ position as power
* tell instead of ask
* demeaning/disrespectful
* lack empathy
* refuse feedback/ input
* favors yes people

Standardized tests have no place in elementary education. Because testing becomes the focus of education instead of learning. We take away the fun and excitement of learning, playing, exploring, & creating. We prepare test takers instead of problem solvers and innovators.

Feels like each grade is at least two grades behind in terms of maturity. Certainly not every student, but generally, this feels accurate.

I love leaders who spend time and interact with their staff in the classrooms, hallways, cafeteria, after-school events, etc. Every interaction is building culture.

Standardized testing, especially in elementary level, is not only a massive waste of time and money, but has little to no impact on student learning.

Teachers, want to take something off your plate? Put HW in the trash, especially for elementary grades. Let students go home to run, play, and enjoy being a child. And read a little after playing. Then they come to school recharged instead of stressed out and you will too!
