♦️MMC On Duty♦️

The Member of Mayoral Committee (MMC) for Community Services Fighter Tracy Seimela recently undertook an oversight visit to assess the day-to-day operations and progress of all four landfill sites namely (Secunda, Bethal, Kinross and Leandra) within the Govan Mbeki Municipality. The visit aimed to ensure accountability, compliance and optimal performance of the sites, ultimately enhancing service delivery to the community. The evaluation revealed varying conditions across the landfill sites, with Leandra landfill serving as a model for best practices thus far.

To address this, the MMC will closely monitor all landfills progress, providing targeted support to ensure all sites reaches the high expected targets.
