Raman was never actually in distant third. Pre-election polls had all three candidates within single digits. Pratt surged late on name recognition and in-person enthusiasm. His voters showed up on Election Day. Raman’s base urban progressives, renters, organized DSA voters disproportionately votes by mail. Every cycle.

Mail voters and Election Day voters are not the same pool. Expecting them to be proportional is the actual logical error here.

This happened in LA in 2022. Caruso led Bass on Election Night. Mail ballots flipped it. Nobody called it impossible then.
“Distant third” was a snapshot at 11pm with a fraction of ballots counted. The full picture looking different from the partial one isn’t fraud.

Japanese researchers just moved a cat kidney disease drug toward regulatory approval, after 25 years of work.

Chronic kidney disease is one of the biggest killers of cats.

This is an injectable treatment built around a protein called AIM, discovered by Dr. Toru Miyazaki.

If it reaches the market, the lead researcher says cats could live close to 30 years, double the current average of around 15.
