Hezbollah’s use of FPV drones in south Lebanon is raising growing concern inside the Israeli army, following a series of deadly nighttime attacks that Israeli officials say point to improving capabilities by the Lebanese resistance movement, Ynet wrote on 2 June.

Israeli officials acknowledged that Hezbollah continues to adapt and refine its tactics, describing a “steadily rising learning curve” in the movement’s drone operations.

According to military sources, Hezbollah studies Israeli army methods and improves its capabilities over time, with drone specialists reporting advances in piloting skills, target identification, and the ability to approach troops more closely.

Security expert Cameron Chell told Fox News that Hezbollah is deploying “game-changing” waves of small lethal drones equipped with thermal sensors that can identify Israeli forces through their heat signatures.

He warned that Hezbollah’s drone campaign is likely to intensify and said the Israeli army may be forced to rethink how it moves and operates at night.
