Language shapes treatment: PCOS to PMOS
By now, many of you have seen the news: Polycystic Ovary Syndrome has been officially renamed to Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome (PMOS).
My take?
This one letter change (C to M) is actually a giant leap toward metabolic understanding and holistic care.
Letโs stop treating just the 'ovaries' and start treating the whole woman.

Building a period-friendly world is not only about dignity. It is also about inclusion, economic participation, workforce wellbeing and long-term development.
I choose to laugh at the end because there are those who would read this and tell themselves I am on my own, on this.
