@efebulduk Abi rica etsem robotic sektörü ile ilgili beklentilerini ve Robostrategy $BOT hakkında düşüncelerini içeren SECZ gibi bir paylaşımda bulunabilir misin?
August 12, 2026. Just after midnight.
Crypto Twitter had been fighting for hours. Frank DeGods dropped one line: “crypto oldheads were trading against plumbers.” The veterans, he said, used to trade against weaker retail the “plumbers.” Threadguy piled on. Ansem pushed back. Within hours, “plumber” was both an insult and a badge.
Then @cobie posted.
No caption. Just an image. A plumber meme, delivered in that dry Cobie register. Thousands of likes. Hundreds of quotes. The new head of the Base app had just put the word in the center of the timeline.
Right after that post, something moved onchain.
The same anonymous wallet that would later deploy Basecat minted a new token on Base.
The name: Plumbing.
Same deployer. Same o1 / B20 stack. Same quiet, no-roadmap style.
Almost nobody looked at it that night. Attention was on Solana’s $PLUMBER ripping four figures, on Cobie’s meme, on KOLs announcing they were plumbers too. The Base token sat there with thin volume and a quiet pool.
Three days later, on August 15, the same wallet made the second move.
This time it was a cream-colored cat in a blue hard hat.
$Basecat.
Liquidity opened. Cobie followed the account. Coinbase’s CBO followed. @baseapp posted the cat. Market cap went from a few hundred thousand to fourteen million, then tens of millions. The cat became Base’s mascot. The community took over. Helmets on.
Only then did people notice.
base:0xb200000000000000000000d3677a2bddb1184d01 and @BasecatOnBase came from the same hands.
Same wallet. First the pipes, hours after Cobie’s plumber post. Then the cat.
To some it was just a deployer taking two shots. To others it was classic CT lore: tokenize the joke first. If nobody cares, ship the real one. Lay the plumbing. Then put a hard hat on the cat.
Plumbing is still there low volume, half-forgotten, the “hidden lottery” from the same creator.
Basecat became the face of the chain.
It all started on the night of August 12, immediately after Cobie’s image.
One wallet. One meme. Two tokens.
First the plumber.
Then the cat.
Saying the obvious. Most people “in crypto” know this, most people “not in crypto” may not understand yet.
Tokenizing gold is NOT “on chain” gold.
It’s tokenizing that you trust some third party will give you gold at some later date, even after their management changes, maybe decades later, during a war, etc.
It’s a “trust me bro” token.
This is the reason no “gold coins” have really took off. 🤷♂️
