One of the things I was most excited to bring to life when building $REALM is something I don't think people fully appreciate yet.

The ability for communities to crowdfund assets that aren't even onchain yet.

Think about how many stocks, commodities, and real world assets still aren't accessible onchain.

Until now, communities have largely had to wait for someone else to bring those assets onchain and provide the liquidity. I think that's incredibly limiting.

With Realm, we're changing that. Anyone can initiate a crowdfund for an asset they want to see onchain, and the community can collectively raise the liquidity needed to make it happen. Instead of waiting for the platform, exchanges, or protocols to decide which markets should exist, communities can take the initiative themselves and the best part is that early liquidity providers can be rewarded for helping bring these markets to life.

We're essentially giving communities the ability to decide which markets get created.

I believe the next generation of onchain markets won't just be created by institutions. They'll be created by communities and Realm is building the infrastructure to make that possible.

I decided to launch $REALM because I believe on-chain markets have the potential to become much bigger than what traditional launchpads offer today.

With Realm, tokens can be paired against multiple stocks, cryptocurrencies, and RWAs.

Fees can be directed to X accounts, GitHub accounts, token holders, liquidity, burns, and more.

If an asset isn't on-chain yet, communities can crowdfund the liquidity needed to bring it onchain through Realm, while rewarding early liquidity providers.

But one of the most important things to me is how we support the tokens and communities within our ecosystem.

Realm is the first launchpad designed to actively support its ecosystem through buybacks.

Communities can burn $REALM to vote for the tokens they want Realm to support.

Winning tokens receive Realm-funded buybacks for the next 48 hours or longer.

This creates ongoing support for ecosystem projects while keeping $REALM deflationary.

We already have three crowdfunded pairs: HOOD1X, OpenAI, and Anthropic.

One of REALM’s core features is Ecosystem Voting.

Users can burn $REALM to vote for ecosystem tokens they want to receive buyback support. This creates a direct utility for $REALM through token burns while allowing communities to actively support projects within the REALM ecosystem.

For example, if a project launches a token on REALM, its community can burn $REALM to vote for that token. If it wins the voting round, it becomes the selected token for ecosystem buybacks over the following 48 hours.

The size of those buybacks is funded by platform revenue and can scale significantly depending on how much revenue REALM generates during that period.

This creates a powerful ecosystem flywheel: projects compete for buyback support, communities burn $REALM to participate, and platform revenue flows back into ecosystem tokens. At the same time, every vote permanently removes $REALM from circulation, creating an ongoing deflationary mechanism that becomes stronger as ecosystem participation grows.

REALM is the first launchpad to introduce this system and the only launchpad to support its ecosystem in this decentralized way. Instead of a centralized team deciding which projects receive support, the community determines where ecosystem buybacks are directed through $REALM burns and voting.

An update on $REALM.

A token deployed by our team began trading before we announced an official launch. We had not published its contract address or confirmed that $REALM was live.

During that initial trading, a sniper acquired approximately 61% of the total supply and subsequently realised approximately $200,000 in profit. We have verified the transactions and will share the supporting onchain evidence.

We understand the concerns this has created. Although we had not announced the launch, we deployed the token and take responsibility for how this was handled.

We will not be moving forward with that contract as the official $REALM token.

We intend to launch a new token with revised launch conditions. Its contract address will be explicitly confirmed through our official channels.

We also plan to allocate 5% of the new supply to eligible holders of the previous token, based on a holder snapshot. We will publish the snapshot details and distribution rules separately.

There is no announced date for the official launch. Do not treat any token as official until we publish and confirm its contract address here.
