@JesseCohenInv There are far fewer stocks that go from $10 to $40 than there are that go from $10-$11, or $24-$25 or $39-40 on a daily basis. Day traders dont chase homeruns rather hit daily bases.

@spbkny Bid ask spread isnt an issue with liquid names. Market & limit orders both have their place. Trend could be as short as a single large candle. Drifting across the range means range bound action. If range is broad enough, it presents very high probability fades with limit orders
