I've been trading futures $CL, $ZB, $ES, $NQ & stocks for many years but lack discipline. Goal is to post daily results from day trading to help w/ consistency.

I was in a car accident about a week ago and is now recuperating at home

1/14/26: -$400 trading $NQ, $CL. Up $500 today but offset by losing trades from trading after hours last night
Have an appointment tomorrow so might not trade

1/14/26: -$100 trading $NQ, $CL, & $YM and stocks. Was up $600, then lost in $NQ so that’s it for me today

1/5-1/9/26: -$1,000 this week trading $NQ, $ES, $CL and stocks for this week. Made $3400 from M, T and W but lost $4400 yesterday and today.
3 W and 2 L days yet lost due to losing more on the 2 losing days
My win rate is 62-75% so technical is fine but risk management is poor

1/9/26: -$3300 trading $NQ and $CL. Lost a lot trading NQ this am and recover $2k but still down over max loss. My punishment for not stopping when down -$1500 is not trading the next day so no trade on Monday

1/8/26: -$1000 trading $NQ, $SQQQ & $TQQQ
Should have closed my platform instead of leaving it on. I tend to give back profits when I continue to trade after lunch, yet did it again today aargh

1/8/26: $200 trading $NQ, $MLTX, $FLYX
Today’s lesson is to risk the same amount for each trade but didn’t do that with $MLTX so got burned

1/7/26 +$1100 trading $ES, $NQ, $TQQQ.
$SNOW and $XYZ are option trades
$ES was not easy for me today and had to make up earlier losses so glad to be
up

If I failed to stop trading once hit daily max loss, I will not trade the next day. Hopefully, this will break my bad habit

It has been a while since my last post but have not overcome revenge trading yet so want to post again to keep myself accountable
This is an IRA acct & 40k is in a year CD & have $61k to trade. Goal is to stick with daily max loss of $1500 and grow this acct

@stoxkcharts Tried to cancel a long trade in NQ but it froze and the platform doesn't work on the computer and phone app. They are not even answering the phone. Aargh!
