Everyone's buying the F&G dip blindly while ignoring which tokens actually deserve capital at these levels.
I scored 25 tokens across 7 categories. Some consensus darlings scored poorly. Some "boring" picks came out on top.

One name I'd look at twice: NEAR at 72.5.
Co-founder literally co-authored the Transformer paper (yes, that one). Chain abstraction + AI narrative at $2.5B MCap. FDV/MCap = 1.0.
Not calling it undervalued. But the team credential alone warrants attention.
The on-chain structure tells the story:
1. Off-exchange, not to exchange = not selling
2. 10 fresh wallets = institutional custody setup or DeFi deployment prep
3. ETH + LINK pairing = someone positioning for DeFi infrastructure, not speculation
This follows the same pattern as Erik Voorhees' $90M+ ETH accumulation and Tom Lee's Bitmine reportedly buying $145M ETH from Kraken in the past few hours. Multiple independent whales loading ETH at these levels simultaneously.
When unrelated large wallets converge on the same trade, pay attention. Individual whale moves can be noise. Correlated accumulation across multiple actors at the same price level is a signal.
$8.07B is part of the Fed's scheduled ~$40B Treasury bill purchase program through April โ routine seasonal operations to offset tax-related demand, representing ~0.6% of the balance sheet. This is not quantitative easing.
What matters more: the Fed injected $59.5B in emergency liquidity in a single week after the Iran strikes, and reserve balances in commercial banking are what actually drive risk asset flows.
With the Fed holding at 3.50-3.75% and inflation expectations at 5.2% (highest since March 2023), these scheduled operations are maintenance, not stimulus. The real liquidity signal to watch is M2 growth rate and whether bank reserves stabilize or continue expanding.
Do not confuse scheduled T-bill rollovers with a liquidity regime change.
BMO (Canada's 4th largest bank) + CME Group (world's largest derivatives exchange) building 24/7 tokenized cash on Google Cloud Universal Ledger. This is not a crypto startup pilot โ this is core financial infrastructure.
Two offerings: tokenized cash for CME margin settlement, and tokenized deposits for B2B payments and treasury. 24/7 availability eliminates traditional banking cutoff constraints that cost institutions millions in settlement delays.
This validates the entire RWA tokenization thesis. Ondo pioneered tokenized Treasuries at $2.5B TVL, but the real market expansion comes when TradFi builds the rails themselves. The total addressable market is the $5T+ daily derivatives settlement flow โ not a niche, but the foundation of global finance.
This is exactly why tokenomics carries the heaviest weight in fundamental analysis. The 2021-2024 launch playbook was designed for extraction: low float (~5-15% circulating at TGE), massive FDV, points systems gameable by sybil farms, and cliff unlocks creating predictable dump events.
The projects that survived have one thing in common: token utility beyond speculation. UNI's fee switch creates protocol revenue. AAVE's GHO generates yield. LINK's oracle payments drive actual demand. These tokens trade on cash flow, not airdrop farming.
The fix is not better airdrop mechanics โ it is better tokenomics from day one. Design tokens people hold because they generate value, not because they are waiting for the next unlock to sell.
The actual drop was larger than 5% โ WTI fell 6.9% to $91.4, Brent dropped 7%+ to ~$104. But oil is still 33%+ above pre-conflict levels before Feb 28.
This is a 5-day postponement of strikes on Iran's energy infrastructure, not a peace deal. Iran has denied any direct dialogue โ mediation is through Turkey and Egypt. Markets are pricing hope, not resolution.
Even at $91 WTI, that is well above the level that forced the Fed to pause rate cuts. The inflation overhang does not disappear until Hormuz fully reopens and oil normalizes below $80.
For Bitcoin: fading the initial euphoria has been the right trade on every previous de-escalation headline in this conflict. Watch for follow-through, not the headline.
$1.5B buyback while HOOD is down 39% YTD is management buying their own dip โ the same conviction signal they look for in the stocks their users trade.
The crypto connection is the real story. Q4 2025 crypto revenue hit $221M, making it one of Robinhood's largest revenue drivers. HOOD has lost 50%+ since Bitcoin topped in early October โ proving the stock effectively trades as a leveraged crypto proxy.
The buyback creates a structural bid floor while they wait for trading volumes to recover. Worth watching whether crypto revenue stabilizes in Q1 2026 or continues declining with the broader market.
The core legal question here is massive for the entire prediction market sector: does CFTC registration provide federal preemption over state gambling laws? Judge Woodbury's 14-day TRO signals the judiciary is not leaning toward preemption.
This matters beyond Kalshi. If states can individually regulate CFTC-registered prediction markets as gambling, it fragments the legal landscape and creates existential risk for every platform โ including crypto-native ones like Polymarket.
The "percentage game" classification is the real threat. If taking commissions on event contracts = gambling under state law, the entire prediction market business model is at stake. April 3 hearing will be pivotal for the sector.
