@AccaNinja Thank you for sharing the good and bad Ninja, large swings like this can dent confidence sometimes. Trusting your testing and diversifying through a range of +EV strategies will be the answer in the long run.
Painful to watch people celebrate a pay raise by going and financing a new car. Under the guise that they deserve it. Listen to me you donβt deserve more debt. Youβve chained yourself to that job and that income. All for a feeling that wears off.
My previous tweet is a clear as day example of how it only takes one 'bad' trade to wipe out a whole day's effort. Always accept a loss when you know it's the right thing to do.
@sportstradermum@proform_racing Do you use Bettrader or Geekstoy software for your trading? Trying to find a shortcut to switch between Tick Offset off/on during in running!
My most consistent and profitable trading day to date (+Β£33.77) π Today helped offset a nasty loss at Goodwood yesterday. Beginning to gravitate more towards in play trading. Screenshots included for last few days (skipped Sunday).
Much better trading session. Managed to bounce back from a few early setbacks at Ascot. I'm still learning how to approach higher liquidity races like the King George today.
Couldn't get a real grip on this evening's markets. Got caught out badly in play at Chepstow. I've still a lot to learn with this game but very much enjoying the process π. Need to exercise more caution when I see market 'bombers' appear in low liquid markets.
@KASDad Many thanks for the kind words. It's certainly a long and challenging road, but a valuable skillset to attain. Hopefully I'll be able to apply some of the knowledge to navigating the financial markets when I am ready & in a more stable position to do so.
