A+ trade recap β
keeping a constant flow of thoughts "why are we doing this" "what is the market showing me" is how you can keep a clear view of what you want to see. If you canβt reason why the market is going somewhere, then you shouldnt be taking a trade. I am not a fan of just using gaps because its a gap, I want to be able to put context behind them. On the higher time frame, when we invert those gaps it shows us that participants are agreeing on higher prices, we retested them off the open and got bought up right away, once we got a pullback into that 5m gap, the only thing keeping us from moving higher was the 1m, I entered long on a close obve that level and managed my risk at the ITH

No trades today, stay patient and wait for those clean obvious trades
You only need a few per week
That plus time and expierence will give you the freedom you need πͺ

A+ 30s long off the open β
I strangled this one a little bit. Went break even at the ITH and wound up getting taken out at break even. That internal high was not significant as it was not in any HTF gap. Being so close to the open with price being as volatile as it is, there was no reason to go breakeven, especially when price was so clearly bullish

Took this A+ loss this morning β
You gotta be fine with taking loses as long as they are good losses
- delivering from a 1h gap
- London high taken
- 1m first presented inversion
- 1:1 targeting LRL
- London low still below
Would take this 10/10 times and thatβs what matters π€

1. Have an idea for what you want to see the market do
2. Execute if you get it
3. Donβt if you donβt
I want to make this as simple as possible to understand, and thatβs literally all you need to know π€

As simply as I can put it π
I'm an ICT trader, but I'm viewing the market without the "ICT bias" that so many people have. I trade this way because it makes sense to me and makes my trading extremely mechanical

A+ long traded live in the group β
1H IFVG
5m FVG retest
2m IFVG entry
Bread & butter setup to start the week π
Only thing that should have been better here was my exit
I wound up closing this for just under 1:1R because while I was bullish, I didnβt have my exact exit planned out before entry which was a dumb mistake on my part. Wound up exiting at the infilled 1h gap for just under 1:1R

Keep your trading so simple that itβs boring
You donβt need 50 different confluences
Piece together a few things that jump off the screen and make sense to you and execute off of those
If they donβt show up one day, go touch grass. The market will be here tomorrow

It really is that simple
The reason it takes traders forever to become profitable isn't because it's hard to read price action. It's because it's hard to sit and wait. Human nature is what causes countless people to fail in this game.
Time is going to pass regardless, you can either let it pass and make it meaningful, or let it pass and waste your time
