Just closed on the lot in Antigua. Time to build.

After years grinding in the trades, investing, and making smart real estate moves, my wife, our two Doberman Pinschers, and I left commie Vancouver, Canada and planted roots here for real. No more watching from the sidelines. We finalized the land purchase and are getting build plans approved at the same time. This account will document the entire process in real time — from breaking ground and pouring foundations to the finished property. Hurricane-proof design, honest cost breakdowns, material choices that actually work in the tropics, the wins, and the fuck-ups. All of it, no filter. I’m a fatherless street kid who didn’t graduate high school. Everything I’ve built — the skills, the capital, the freedom to do this — came from showing up every day, working harder than anyone around me, making sacrifices, and learning on the job. The grind is all I know, and it’s the same mindset I bring to markets, real estate, and asset building.
