@shipmate01 I understand that, but Just as a lot of people would short it immediately there would be a lot of people looking to buy it at the lower prices. It’s what free markets are meant to do, you’re taking away the true equilibrium price by not letting people short it.

The way they should do it is have some sort of questionnaire on the accounts and maybe have people show that they have a certain amount of money they are willing to risk. Age should matter…. I’m sure it can be worked out. Just not right that we can’t short in the US.
