The WA election is tomorrow, so lets look into what the results might look like, and why this election will give us key insight into what will happen federally!
(Linked below is my previous thread on the WA election 🙂)

Don’t you just hate it when a woman doesn’t keep quiet while hosting HER OWN TV SHOW.
Happy International Women’s Day from the liberationists at The Australian
I’m getting dressed (well. undressed) for Mardi Gras. On the ex-ABC float for retired or sacked broadcasters. O’Brien, Greene, Barry, Latouf, Grant. See you there
@tanya_plibersek Perplexing how people don't acknowledge the factual success of ALP, but would rather return to the Coalition? I feel the Albo is meh thing, but really? Bots, bot away: I won't be reading responses. 😁
I don’t want to connect my coffee machine to the wifi network. I don’t want to share the file with OneDrive. I don’t want to download an app to check my car’s fluid levels. I don’t want to scan a QR code to view the restaurant menu. I don’t want to let Google know my location before showing me the search results. I don’t want to include a Teams link on the calendar invite. I don’t want to pay 50 different monthly subscription fees for all my software. I don’t want to upgrade to TurboTax platinum plus audit protection. I don’t want to install the Webex plugin to join the meeting. I don’t want to share my car’s braking data with the actuaries at State Farm. I don’t want to text with your AI chatbot. I don’t want to download the Instagram app to look at your picture. I don’t want to type in my email address to view the content on your company’s website. I don’t want text messages with promo codes. I don’t want to leave your company a five-star Google review in exchange for the chance to win a $20 Starbucks gift card. I don’t want to join your exclusive community in the metaverse. I don’t want AI to help me write my comments on LinkedIn. I don’t even want to be on LinkedIn in the first place.
I just want to pay for a product one time (and only one time), know that it’s going to work flawlessly, press 0 to speak to an operator if I need help, and otherwise be left alone and treated with some small measure of human dignity, if that’s not too much to ask anymore.
Have you ever wished to view the world from a completely new perspective? This thread on cool maps is here to blow your mind.
1. The Mississippi River and its tributaries
The combined primary vote for the liberals and Labor so far in Werribee is about 55%. The federal election could finally see the manifestation of four decades of decline for the majors. Government deep in minority territory.
It’d be more accurate to diagnose Kanye West as being a total cunt.
So sick of these far right, misogynistic, bigoted, problematic fucking losers thinking neurodivergence is a get out of jail free card. Stop pretending you’ve got autism to try to excuse your shit behaviour.
January was the deadliest start to the year on #SouthAustralia roads since 2019 😰
12 people lost their lives on SA roads last month, including 5 vulnerable road users.
@7NEWSAdelaide has shared this confronting footage of narrow near misses last month.

Blower vac use should only be allowed between 2:30 - 3:00 pm and not at all during the dry summer months, when every brunch lunch and dinner gets covered in dust. 🥴😒 #frigoff
I work in schools and a cohort of kids from a year 6 class, who are now in year 10, randomly get on their old class Team's channel to catch-up, and they're so cute.
It should have been closed ages ago, but I'm not telling anyone!
🙏🥰

I had a deeply upsetting call from my dear friend Raed in Beit Hanoun in #Gaza yesterday.
I've been so worried about him because he's been offline for the past week.
After the ceasefire, Raed and all of his family walked all the way from Al Muwasi in the south to their home in Beit Hanoun.
It was a desperately hard journey on foot that took four days. It was so tough, tragically Raed's pregnant daughter-in-law who was 4 months pregnant had a miscarriage along the way.
The devastation in Beit Hanoun is horrific. "Life in Gaza has gone back 1000 years," Raed says.
His home is completely gone. Completely. Not a brick standing. His son's house and father's house are the same. There is no food. No internet coverage there.
They have to walk 10 kilometers to get water. After 14 months of this genocide I've never heard him sound so absolutely broken.
They have gone back to nothing. Absolutely nothing. A whole new horrific suffering has just begun 😭
