The allegations involving Senator Shehu Buba, backed by videos and photographs presented by Hassan via @DEngliishalhaji, including images involving individuals described as religious leaders, are too serious to be ignored.

Attempts to dismiss the matter as political witch-hunting, religious sentiment or ethnic bias do not answer the questions raised. Nigerians deserve a transparent investigation and the truth.

Victims of banditry and kidnapping have repeatedly described the criminal network as highly organised and interconnected. Therefore, allegations of this nature must be investigated thoroughly, regardless of who is involved or how powerful they may be.

The Presidency, NSA, Attorney-General, DSS, Northern stakeholders and all relevant security authorities must pay serious attention to this matter. Nigerians expect clear statements, a credible investigation and appropriate action based on the findings.

If Senator Shehu Buba is innocent, let the authorities investigate and establish the facts. If evidence of wrongdoing is found, those responsible must face the law.

No one should be above investigation. Nigerians deserve the truth.

To tell you Nigeria is truly a crime scene, many of you probably didn’t know that Senator Shehu Buba chaired the Senate Committee on National Security & Intelligence until he was removed in November 2025. Lol 😂 This country!

Shehu Buba is reportedly very close to NSA Nuhu Ribadu. According to several senators, there are serious concerns that the gov’t may be shielding Shehu Buba from a proper investigation.

Even more troubling are allegations that interventions by religious leaders, including His Eminence the Sultan, contributed to halting the investigation of this guy. And, to me, this is even more worrisome than all of the above.
