Okay so let’s talk about #gender and #pronouns. Recently a very infamous person was arrested and said person uses different pronouns than given to them at birth and it’s sparked a lot of controversy regarding gender identity and harmful standards when it comes to respect.

Respecting someone’s identity should not be dependent on who you deem is worthy of respect. Yes, even those objectively horrid. If we don’t, we’re basically saying that people need to earn respect to be given their true identity and that’s a harmful standard to have.
