Sorry for the radio silence, guys. Frankly, this new job is kicking my ass in terms of the time required. There are days I leave for work at 6:30 in the morning and don't get home until 7 at night, and then I usually still have things to do.

The upshot is that Kevin and I have decided to move the podcast to a seasonal schedule. I'll record and release an audio update this week to explain in more detail, but that means abandoning the weekly schedule and trying to get stuff out when I have bigger gaps in my schedule.

Tomorrow after work I plan on driving to the Bronx to pick up my cat, who's been staying with my mom. After that, I should be able to hit on a routine that is sustainable, and then I can work the podcast back into it.

The month of August is winding down and one thing is obvious: I need more time. The move is almost done. Once I finish getting things unpacked, I'll have some pictures for you guys. But I am EXHAUSTED, and the school year just keeps adding on more things.

First night in my new Philly apartment. Big upgrade from my last place. Gas range. In unit laundry. A deck. The main problem is that my furniture is still in Ithaca. 😂 I think I'm close to figuring out how to get it all here in a timely fashion, though.
