I talk mostly mostly Falcom. Especially about The Legend of Heroes. I do talk about other JRPGs too at times. and also about anime. My opinions are uncensored.

A bit late, but time to start my 2026 media thread. As always, excited to say what awaits for me this year. Hopefully I can watch and play more stuff than in 2025, which was a really busy year for me (amazing year though)

Felt like doing this. I wouldn't call this my top 9 anime, but I feel they played a role in shaping who I am (and what I like). And while I wouldn't call it my top 9, these are all series I absolutely adore.

I think CS3/CS4 are superior in pretty much every way, engine being one of them

Do you prefer the first 2 Cold Steel games with the old engine or lean more towards Cold Steel 3/4?

52. Youkoso Jitsuryoku Shijou Shugi no Kyoushitsu e 2nd Season

I haven't read the LN, but even I can say the first arc is incredibly rushed, making it the worst so far. That said, the series does improve a lot after that arc. Overall fun watch and quite adictive

51. Youkoso Jitsuryoku Shijou Shugi no Kyoushitsu e

Rewatch. The series checks pretty much every anime cliché in the book, but as I've gotten older I've also learned clichés become clichés for a reason. This doesn't feel unique, but as an anime fan, this is a fun series.

@KisekiRpgs Trails in the Sky FC en occidente y me acuerdo que en Japon recien había salido Zero. Aunque si hablamos de "Legend of Heroes", empecé con Tear of Vermillion en 2005 o 2006. En aquel entonces me acuerdo que el que estaba por salir en Japon era Sora SC (aqui no eran ni tema aun)

Already have both games on Switch, but couldn't help myself. I love Crossbell way too much, so not having a limited edition of the duology felt wrong (and I already had a limited edition of at least one entry of each saga + Hajimari except Crossbell).
