TrainLookout is better than ever! 🗺️✨
Over the past few weeks, we have implemented several key improvements and introduced a number of new features. Some of the recent changes that you might have already noticed include:
- Insights about your journeys (most visited stations, countries visited by rail & more)
- Introduced Email Auto-Import for easier and quicker logging of journeys
- Ability to make your profile public
- Launched a blog!
And off the taxi and on to the train. I could have stayed with the taxi to Dakar, but wanted to finish it with this.

This morning it's my first train in #Pakistan 🇵🇰 The 07:00 Subak Raftar from #Lahore to #Rawalpindi in the top tier AC Parlour Class 💺 This 5 hour journey costs €6 and it's very comfortable! 😁 VERY foggy this morning though ☁️ #NonstopEurotrip
Solo (Surakarta) to Bandung 🇮🇩 ticking off one of the more famous rail routes in South East Asia.
The scenery, especially the second half of the 6h ride, was outstanding (videos below). Very comfortable in Executive class.
@JesseStockall Hi Jesse! Our current focus is on regular scheduled passenger services. We’re looking forward to bringing in services like LeShuttle at a later point.
Perhaps routing Folkestone Central or Ashford to Calais Fréthun + a note would work temporarily?

Hi everyone! In April, I set off on a trip attempting to travel from Europe 🇪🇺 to Singapore 🇸🇬 overland. A trip that was very reasonable before 2020 but now in a new reality.
I've made it 8,200km to Georgia 🇬🇪, but it looks like I won't be able to continue.

@velofackeur Hi! Yes, OSM is one of our main data sources, as credited. Exporting (besides the current map image option) is on the roadmap, though I currently can’t guarantee what form that will take.
