So this Friday @EastMidRailway refused to let @BBCRadioLincs talk to passengers on the Nottingham to Skegness train service. The funny thing is they reinstated the carriages they had intended to cut just in case they did. @peter_levy @AlexJJNorris @LordPeterHendy

Final results are in, I was 129th out of 200 and finished in 7 days 5 hours and 46 minutes. 2,000 miles and 9 countries all on public transport. I decided I wasn’t going for a top spot as I wanted to enjoy the journey, which I certainly did. Rumours of another race next spring..
