@LordKnightBB I always use training mode to solve problems I am actively facing at that moment in time to find solutions or compromises in situations in games.

Usually I make a tree of one interaction then create branching possibilities that "could" happen realistically

got into competitive fighting games on 2011 because my friend owned tekken 6 and a ps3 and I didnt still owning a ps2 being poor. He would always beat me and on 2012 I got my first ps3 and never lost to him ever again by sheer training mode and math maxing
