This morning, Elon Musk made a surprise return to the White House for a private meeting with President Trump, far away from the cameras and the Fake News Media.

Their conversation covered the critical midterm elections, foreign policy, and one question that's on everyone's mind:

Is it time to bring DOGE back?

The truth is, Elon Musk didn’t have to do any of this.

They firebombed his businesses, flooded him with death threats, and dragged his family through hell, all because he chose America over silence!

He is the richest man on earth. He could have stayed quiet, protected his empire, and let this country burn from a safe distance.

Instead Elon Musk walked straight into the fire alongside President Trump and never looked back

Now Elon is back, and he didn't come back quietly.

He went directly to President Trump and together they built a plan, and at the center of it is the most powerful weapon either of them has ever had access to: YOU.

• Increase visible police presence at CTA violence hot spots and on trains and buses where data shows it is needed most.

• Rebuild CPD staffing and push aggressively to fill our officer shortage so we have the manpower to protect our neighborhoods and our transit system.

• Strengthen coordination between CPD and CTA security so officers and resources can be deployed where incidents are actually happening.

• Improve cameras, lighting, emergency communication, and real-time monitoring at stations and platforms.

• Hold repeat violent offenders accountable and work with prosecutors, courts, and state officials to stop the revolving door for people who repeatedly terrorize our communities.

• Hold individuals accountable when they violently attack passengers. Being on a train or bus does not give anyone permission to assault another human being
And while I will always
support our officers, I will also hold officers accountable when they go outside their job description or violate the public's trust.

My message is simple: Chicagoans First. Public Safety First. Accountability for EVERYONE.

We are going to take back our buses, our trains, our streets, and our neighborhoods.

You deserve to get on the CTA and make it home safely.
