Deltarune I definitely think suffers from being a little contextless at times. Ralsei and Susie refusing to kill Flowery is a cool idea, but Toby probably should've done something akin to "but it refused" to emphasize it. As it stands it looks more like a glitch.

@RhockoHarrison It's mostly that this usage of that is just a big "fuck you" to the player. Susie and Ralsei are NEVER going to heal us for that much, and never have before. So it's fucking annoying that they're going to do it for a guy susie just met and ralsei hates.

@UmbraSight Like, do I think that the whale thing is exactly Kyogre? No but this game has a track record of making pals that are Very Clearly Just Pokemon To The Left so when they introduce a God of the Sea that is a Water Controlling Whale instead of ANYTHING ELSE I'm gonna say thats Kyogre

@playcentermd The player is absolutely canon to undertale but it's WAY easier to read it as a story where they aren't, that it's just a way more normal video game sense of "controlling the player." I almost kind of like it better that way, ngl.
