I will not flee the United States no matter how bad things become for trans people.
I will stay and fight for trans kids.
America has the potential to become a great nation for everyone, inclusive of everyone. We have to do the work to create that change.

#ChristmasEve can be a difficult time for a lot of #LGBTQ people, especially those who’ve been rejected after coming out.

You need to understand that what we are dealing with is pure evil. The man doing this. The people supporting him. They are all evil. Matt Walsh needs to be crushed and defeated. Nothing less.

The real, factual definition of child grooming is forming a relationship with a child and sometimes their family to gain the child’s trust for the purpose of sexually abusing them. It has nothing to do with LGBTQ people or drag and saying it does is harmful to real child victims
I saw this book at target today. I was overjoyed.
I cried for the Club Q victims.
I find myself constantly searching for progress… but I’m shaken by the violence.
A Kentucky draft bill declares transgender people in restrooms an EMERGENCY and proposes to set "consequences" for transgender students using the bathrooms that match their gender identity.
This is Draft 384 by Rep Wesley, and it must be stopped this year.
I will not let anyone scare me into not being a loud and proud queer person. Violence against us is because they fear us; true power is recognizing our own internal strength in ourselves, and our community, and standing with each other against hate.
Trans people, the only way to survive this world is to find strength, from anywhere within you. If you’re enraged by the injustices of this world, let that passion for justice fuel your fire. We all deserve life.
Of the 175 trans people killed since 2017, only one has ended in a hate crime conviction. Trans people will not and cannot police our way to safety, and there is scant evidence that hate crime laws actually prevent hate crimes. If you want to prevent abuse, help the abused.
Violent rhetoric against trans people, against drag performers, and against the LGBTQ community broadly has been escalating for months, and the @nytimes has only helped it along with pieces reinforcing anti-trans messaging, including just this week. That context can't be ignored.
What I want cis/straight people to understand is that I am personally devastated, and so are many trans, gay, lesbian, bi, and other queer people.
An attack on some of us is an attack on all of us. Heartbroken, sick, afraid, and angry. More emotions I don't have names for.
If you haven't condemned the rhetoric that demonizes trans people, drag queens, and the LGBTQ community, what will it take to start? How much more must the violence escalate before you recognize how vulnerable our community has become? https://t.co/lVqor9Yfbs
