I used to think almost exactly like you.
I get it.
Then I lived it.
I’m not crying in any safe space.

every person deserves equal access and basic respect.
That’s not weakness.
That’s what growth looks like.

I’m still not touching kids, still not recruiting anyone, and still not going anywhere.

Some of us spent our whole childhoods quietly knowing something was wrong with our bodies and our minds, and we had no one to talk to. We covered it up with silence, with numbing, with whatever we could find just to survive the day.
Telling a scared kid “you’re not crazy for feeling this way, and you’re not alone” isn’t abuse. Leaving them to suffer in silence for years is.
I wish someone had been allowed to gently tell me the truth when I was sixteen. My life would’ve been a lot kinder.

spoiler: we’re not.
the strategy, the teamwork, the late-night rallies with our people… that’s what we fell in love with.
not this endless “spend or get left behind” treadmill that even the biggest spenders are starting to side-eye.
mid spenders are exhausted.
low spenders are disappearing.
and the friendships we’ve built over months/years are the only reason a lot of us are still here.
we don’t want to leave.
we just want the game to stop feeling like a money pit that punishes anyone who can’t keep up with the newest, most expensive layer.

I’m a recent Lv1 globe in a 2100s state and I’m spending everything I can… and I still can’t keep up.
Lv18 charms, T6 chief gear, new experts, T12 troops — nobody asked for this flood of insanely expensive stuff 😭
25k for Garrett
20k just to go from 16→18 charms
25k for T12s
another 5-10k for T6 gear
plus pets + heroes…
Even the huge Lv2/3/4 globes are starting to feel it. It’s becoming a pure money pit.
We play for strategy, for the friendships, for the alliance family we built… not to be forced to spend endless amounts just to feel relevant in events.
You’re slowly killing mid & lower spenders. Once we leave, the whales eventually follow. Please don’t do this to us 💔
I don’t want to quit. I love the people I’ve met.
But right now the only options feel like “go to a dead state” or “stop playing.”

I’ve been pretty quiet online lately, sorry about that... my job keeps me really busy and it’s pretty taxing, which makes it hard to be as active as I want to be 😔
But I’m grateful for it too it lets me self-fund my transition, covers my health insurance, and will help me move next year to a better place where I can live fully as my true self 🌸🏡
