Tossed together a scriptable credits scene... I have it set up so that I'll be able to do fancier stuff in it down the road. The demo will probably be pretty basic like this, though. Obviously this is not the credits music playing!

I've gotten the space BG seen out of ship windows working properly now. Even works with dual conversations! The dual conversation code itself still needs some work before it's game ready as "HALDO" can attest.

Say hello to the Chromatans! I showed the initial design a bit ago, but here's the base race sprite! This one actually has some custom features that Anne suggested and is slightly larger than the other sprites! As always, she's killing it!

Little sneak peak of the Zoccoli theme here, and a standardized pause/options menu... I guess the first is more interesting/exciting than the second, though! Continuing work on data validation stuff, which is boring but important.

Nothing huge today. Just got the first half of the missile system up and working... next I have to make something that limits reload/firing speed and gives a visual indication of when you can fire again.

Lots of work hardening control systems. Here, communications grey out when there's a battle going on... no one has time to talk when there are hostilities! Boatloads of other control tightening that's harder to show as well, though.

Got a few things going on here. An alert that goes off for ship heat (too much and you explode), and some smoother transitions all around the menus. Been working on some stuff to for the Chromatan animations, but you'll get to see that later...

Freeyow. Sometimes a seemingly small task spirals! I realized that parts of the mouse/keyboard controls had to be fundamentally reworked for trading. Ah well. The barter system is largely done! I can polish later. On to new things!

And the first completed preview of the Chromatans! Anne is knocking their design out of the park, and as they have come together, their role in the story has expanded a lot. Just seeing them come to life has inspired a lot of fun ideas.
