"Just a city boy Born and raised in West Detroit
He took the midnight train going anywhere."

False. The only available options at midnight in so called "West Detroit" are the Grand River or 7 Mile bus.

Next time you stop at Fort/Cass, give the station walls an extra minute before heading out. 👀

Farley Tobin’s murals are made with more than 30,000 tiles, and some of the glaze includes ash from the 1980 Mount St. Helens eruption.

Once you step outside, John K. King Used and Rare Books and Fort Street Presbyterian Church are both nearby.

Detroit, your bus stops are getting an upgrade. 🚌

Mayor Mary Sheffield and DDOT are investing in a better transit experience with 200+ new benches and 200+ new shelters being installed or upgraded across the city through 2027.

Better stops. Better experience. Better DDOT.

@ChadLivengood @detroitnews Don’t forget about the free SMART shuttle buses. Great way to see more of the cruise while resting in the A/C. In previous years I would either be driving in it or be limited to a few miles in each direction. Now I see it all from Ferndale to Pontiac! https://t.co/kmMRwkoebP…

It's official - the Wayne County Transit Millage has passed!

An overwhelming majority of voters, 67% in total, approved the millage. For the first time in over 30 years, each community in the tri-county area will be connected.

Thank you for making better transit possible.

[Michigan Public Transit Association @MPTAonline]

Michigan voters delivered a clear message yesterday: all 18 transit-related millage proposals passed.

Music fans have two reasons to head to Ford Field this week. 🎸

Foo Fighters kick things off on August 6, followed by Chris Stapleton on August 8. Both shows are expected to draw big crowds into downtown Detroit.

Broadway Station is just a short walk from Ford Field, making the People Mover a convenient part of your concert plans before the lights go down.

Which show are you looking forward to?
