TransitTimes is a feature-packed site with schedules for six different agencies across Puget Sound, designed to be easy to use for novices and enthusiasts alike
Allow me to introduce myself! TransitTimes is a website with transit schedules for the Seattle area. It's a personal project 3½ years in the making, by an enthusiast but for everyone! Beginner-friendly by default, but with stats and visualizations just another click away.
Big update for regional route groups!
Now, regional route groups (e.g., Seattle to Tacoma, or Bellevue to Renton) have settings that cut out the clutter and show just the parts of the routes between those two destinations. The result is a more polished and focused schedule:
New feature: station codes on the map for Sound Transit rail stations!
On the schedule for the 1, 2, S, N, or T Line, you'll see proper station icons on the map st stations instead of bus icons. Icons also show other lines at that station, and 1 & 2 Lines show ST stop codes.
In the 2½ years since I added maps to TransitTimes, a lot has changed. Route maps work, but only do a basic job of showing route groups (transit centers, train stations, etc.) Now, maps show groups better, resize icons based on zoom, and are clickable now!
The combined Link 1 and 2 Line schedules are now up on TransitTimes, start date THIS Saturday (Feb 14)!
Combined schedule is from Lynnwood to Intl Dist/Chinatown (and every station in between). Combined frequency is 4 min peak, 5 off-peak, 8-10 late night/early morning.
My intent is to keep the list updated over the coming years as service changes affect the list. While I've documented suspended routes to the best of my research, I'm bound to have some errors, so feel free to let me know if you see anything inaccurate.
With the new routes list, TransitTimes can show you suspended routes. Agencies have done a good job at burying these such that most people aren't even aware of them. Clicking on a suspended route shows info about its suspension, and what the schedule was the last day it operated.
The list of suspended routes I've included is based on research I've done going back to 2020. I've attributed most Metro suspensions to 4/6/20 as that's when almost all of them occurred. I've not included routes that were suspended then restored within 2020.
Starting off 2026 with a major new TransitTimes feature!🎉
The old routes list is gone. Now, there is a new routes menu with agencies grouped into tabs. This change unlocks a ton of new features which we've yet to highlight or build, but in the meantime, go ahead and try it out!
Big thanks to the Halfmoon UI library (gethalfmoon⚫com) for powering the UI of this site since 2023 and enabling dark mode support since day one, but more recently for the three supported themes (default, modern, and elegant).
Another settings update. They're now organized in a new menu, and the show/hide the map and stop list buttons are moved in the new settings menu. Also, added option to choose light or dark mode (previously it only followed browser preference), and introduced different themes.
TransitTimes update for top bar and view options!
Top bar stays put when scrolling down so it's always easy to change routes, and view settings is now a dialog box over the schedule. You can even scroll the schedule with touch or mouse wheel while changing view options.
If you're interested in where this project is going, give me a follow and you'll see updates on new features (and highlights of existing ones). Let's see where transit can take you!

It's so close, the schedule's even up! 1 Line service to Kent-Des Moines, Star Lake, and Federal Way opens Dec 6, and you can see it now on TransitTimes. Just set the date after Dec 6 and you can see yourself!
Also, note that the opening day schedule has not yet been published.
Hi all! This is me, the old KCM canceled trips (e)X bot. You can even scroll down to see those posts still and it's not that far down.
I recently relaunched my schedule browser site as TransitTimes (dot app). From now on, I'll post updates about that here (& the butterfly site).
Thanks to KCM route 221 and its Education Hill loop, I've fixed an issue with my schedule browser. Previously, when a single trip served a stop or transit center more than once, it didn't handle that well at all. Now it shows both instances, and marks them with an emoji 1️⃣and 2️⃣.
Noticed during a reroute that King County Metro now shows skipped stops in their GTFS-RT feed. Since I already support this in my schedule browser for Community Transit, I only need a minor code change to make this work for KCM as well, so I did.

Gig Harbor Trolley is back on Thursdays and Saturdays starting tomorrow. The schedule is up, which you'll need because it's hourly.

Schedule browser update: stop groups.
Stops in a transit center or park and ride, or different track platforms at the same station are now grouped, and act like one stop. No more different bays showing up as different stops, and point-to-point selection works with groups too.
