@IDSAInfo 2025 Guidelines on the Use of Vaccines for the Prevention of Seasonal COVID-19, Influenza, and RSV Infections in Immunocompromised Patients
https://t.co/RzIv69FTGb
This is the season to get vaccinated for the big three respiratory viruses: #Flu, #COVID, and #RSV. Who needs what?
-Flu: Everyone 6 months +
-RSV: Everyone 75yo+ and 50-74yo at higher risk. Also, get it in pregnancy to prevent RSV in your newborn. If not, give injected antibodies (monoclonal antibodies) for newborns whose moms didn’t get vaccinated against RSV in pregnancy.
-COVID-19: ask your provider AND remember 6m-23m and 65yo+ are at high risk and should get it. 24m-64yo w risk factors too (including pregnancy)
Make these infections go from WILD TO MILD. Vaccines can prevent infection or make infection less severe! This is how you RISK LESS TO DO MORE with your family and friends!
