….in such an event and with a footfall of approx 20,000 each day it was a great opportunity for the Transport Corps to showcase its work and heavy lift vehicles to the general public and assist with recruitment. To top the weekend off the Transport Corps secured 3rd place…2/3

The Transport Corps has begun an Operation facilitating the transfer of 30 ex-DF vehicles to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
This operation represents a continuation of the Defence Forces ongoing efforts to provide non-lethal aid to Ukraine.

The International Transport capability provided by @TransportCorps is a complex process involving dedicated and specialised personell both at home and overseas. Pictured below are 3 LTAVs being repatriated due to our reducing presence in UNDOF Syria.
@TransportCorps is in an ongoing process of modernising it’s assets at home and overseas in order to improve the operational readiness of its fleet and increase its capabilities. Pictured below are the new Scania 8x8 arrived in camp 245 from Beirut recently.
@TransportCorps hosted its annual Transport Corps Concentration. The Concentration involves driving competitions, a display of new equipment and capabilities and an opportunity for corps members to exchange expertise and tackle the issues facing the corps.

@TransportCorps is tasked with the movement and supply of crucial military ordnance. Without materiel and supply no form of military activity can take place. Convoys are used to protect personnel and equipment from the hazards of operational environments.

Recently 2 Bde Tpt assisted in the launch of the new EV charging point in Custume Barracks. Similar to the current facilities implemented around the DF already, it is part of the 2 Bde Energy Management Plan aiming to improve the energy efficiency within our fleet 🚛🔋
@TransportCorps personnel from 1 Brigade Transport Company hosted a driver training day. The day included driver skills challenges following a day of role specific training. Driver and Fitter of the year were selected and awarded accordingly. Congrats to all involved! 🙌
