Look out for bucket collectors around Edgeley Park before kick-off and at half-time. Every donation helps local families get children to vital medical appointments.
We were sad to hear of the death of former Treasurer and Chairman John Adams last month. John's dedication was vital in helping the charity become a limited company and securing it's financial future. There will be a celebration of life at Adlington Memorial Park on 14th May, 1pm
We were very sad to hear of the passing of our former Chairman John Sagar earlier this month. He was Chairman from 2005 until 2016 and was key to growing the charity in to the organisation it is today. His funeral will be held at Rochdale Crematorium on Tuesday 12th May at 2pm.
Happy International Women's day! Did you know we have 8 amazing female drivers? Here's what Suzanne says 'The charity takes such good care of the drivers, I feel valued, appreciated and supported at all times' Get in touch if you're interested in joining the team!
Good news today on World Cancer Day, a national cancer care plan for children. Although the travel fund will come next year our drivers @transportfsc are always there to support families in Greater Manchester. @MFT_Charity@ChildhoodCancer@WorldCancerDay
We support a lot of families in Bolton, Bury, Rochdale, Oldham and North Manchester so we're looking for new drivers in these areas. The role is flexible, if you have your own vehicle, some spare time and enjoy helping others please get in touch or share! @ActionTogether2
Merry Christmas from all the team at Transport for Sick Children. We hope you have a lovely festive season. The office will be closed from lunch time on Wednesday 24th December and will be open reduced hours from then until Friday 2nd January.
It was lovely to see so many of our drivers at our annual Christmas lunch at Houldsworth golf club last week. Thanks again to them all for their amazing commitment to the charity over the past year.
As Trustee Week 2025 comes to an end we'd like to thank all of our amazing Trustees for their hard work and dedication to the Charity ๐ #TrusteesWeek
Thanks to everyone who came to our AGM earlier this month. It was great to see some of our newer drivers and officially welcome Angela Chan as our Treasurer and Alice Carroll, daughter of charity founder Sally Carroll as a Trustee๐
