This town was the birth place for the old iconic chain of Wilkinson. It's a shame what happened to them. They may have been saved by The Range, but it's just not the same, ya know?

@Hull_Trains I'm sorry to hear that the proposed King's Cross to Sheffield service isn't happening. I understand why.
The path between King's Cross and Newark Northgate is full of other services that it practically impossible. You + LNER + GC + Lumo + Thameslink + Great Northern. Gosh!

@SY_Supertram Hi. These traffic lights keep on triggering even though there are no trams running beyond Geadless Townend due to the works, and it's getting quite annoying for the drivers constantly having to stop. Could we kindly ask AMEY to temporarily turn them off?

@bustimes_org I want to have the blue Stagecoach Beachball moquette as my wallpaper. There are plenty of Stagecoach buses that still have that moquette on board. I'll try and take a picture and use that.

@SY_Supertram Hi. I just looked at tram 109 which is running the Blue Route between Gleadless Townend and Halfway P&R. One of the headlights on the number 1 end has blown with only one headlight working.

@FirstSouthYorks Hi. I got stopped by Revenue Protection going into Rotherham from Sheffield and I have to pay the £50 standard fare. But I have lost my slip with the reference number on it at Rotherham Central Station. Is there a way to pay it online without the slip?

@StagecoachYrks No problem. The police have only closed the uphill direction towards Chapeltown and Barnsley. The 2 should be able to run normal route going downhill towards Sheffield. The car crashed into the traffic island and the police closed the road behind it

@TravelSYorks, @FirstSouthYorks @StagecoachYrks It looks like Service 2 towards Barnsley will have to divert via Firth Park. There has been a a crash at the junction Barnsley Rd/Hucklow Rd. The police have closed the road one way going up Barnsley Rd. Normal route to Sheffield.

@SY_Supertram Okay. I know finding spare parts for old vehicles is like finding a needle in a haystack. The Düewag fleet are no exception, especially since they are just over 30 years old now.

@syptweet There is a guy on a riding around on a dirt bike with no lights or licence plate. I'm currently on @FirstSouthYorks 8 and 1st saw him riding past us on City Road and then went down Ridgeway Road. The last time I saw him was while we were on Hollinsend Road.

@northernassist I wish we could have got some 3 car Class 195s from Stockport Depot. 6 car trains would definitely help us with passengers going between Sheffield and Nottingham.
